When you join a local BCA, you also become a member of the Idaho Building Contractors Association (IBCA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Which means that you can also take advantage of participating, attending, volunteering and sponsoring if you are interested, for those associations as well. The IBCA hold three board meetings a year and typically the Winter Board is held in Boise Idaho, when we have an opportunity to visit with our local legislators and get updates and share our issues and concerns. If your interested in learning more, you can contact the SRVBCA or watch for more updates as they are available to us. But make sure to try to attend the local board meeting and see if your interest is pursuing being a regular attendees of the state meetings.
