Builder/Developer Meeting: Presentation from the City of Nampa

We’re pleased to welcome Tom Points, Senior Director of Public Works for the City of Nampa, as our featured speaker at the SRVBCA Builder/Developer Meeting on Tuesday, December 1st.

Tom will present on “Flood Water Recharge Project for the Treasure Valley and Developer-Built Ponds for Open Space.” As our region keeps growing, managing stormwater and floodwater and protecting our groundwater supply matter more and more to both municipalities and the building community. Tom will walk through the City’s approach to floodwater recharge and how it could benefit the Treasure Valley’s long-term water resources. He’ll also cover how developer-built ponds might be incorporated into open space within new developments.

This is a great opportunity for builders, developers, engineers, and anyone involved in land development to hear directly from the City of Nampa, learn how these efforts could affect future projects, and share feedback and questions. Time will be set aside for Q&A, so bring your questions!
